Koroboi Foundation donates to St. Mary's Hospital in Kibara for the first time: A special moment in our partnership

We as Koroboi Foundation would like to share the news that last week we transferred our first donation to St. Mary's Hospital in Kibara, Tanzania.

This donation marks an important milestone in our partnership with the hospital and the Diocese of Bunda. Over the past year, we have worked hard to realise our vision: to improve medical care for the people of Kibara and the surrounding area.

A solid foundation of trust and friendship
From the start, we have worked closely with Bishop Simon Chibuga Masondole and his team to ensure that our projects focus on the hospital's most pressing needs.  

Together, we made concrete plans aimed at improving care at St Mary's Hospital, especially for the most vulnerable people in the region. This first donation is the result of this and forms the basis for further joint projects.

The first phase: Renewal of the maternity ward
Our first donation of €7,800 is specifically for the renewal of beds, mattresses, mosquito nets and cupboards in the hospital's new maternity ward. This ward plays a crucial role in improving healthcare for mothers and their newborn babies. Thanks to this contribution, mothers and babies can be cared for in a better, cleaner and safer environment, improving not only hygiene but also overall patient care.

A shared celebration and gratitude
The opening of the maternity ward is expected to be celebrated festively next month. We look forward to following the ceremony online and will keep you, our readers, informed.
